major MM manipulation today ... the stock is in a very very tight
range... in fact for the past 15 minutes or so both the bid and ask
are stuck on 38 13/16. haven't seen that on a stock for a while? looks
like a real effort by MM to keep the stock price right between two option strike prices 37.5 and 40. If that indeed pans out, then the
stock should close roughly around 38.75. What can happen is the
expiration pressure will ease somehow by the end of the day and the
stock will move back up toward 40. I think we can break 40 by the end
of the year.
