To all Dellheads:
Just got home and saw Dell up and CPQ down.
Is this a new trend? Is the tide turning?
Probably not, but it is something I have not
seen in quite some time.
Happy Holidays,
Andy Richter

Another Small Step To Windows 2000

(12/17/98, 10:31 a.m. ET)

By Stuart Glascock, Computer Reseller News
Another incremental step has been forged on the long road to Windows 2000.

Microsoft executives acknowledged late Wednesday a milestone in the development of the complex operating system. The Redmond, Wash.-based company announced the readiness of Release Candidate 0 for Beta 3 of Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional.

The CDs will be sent to 1,000 technical beta sites and will be available to about 16,000 technical beta testers from a password-protected FTP site, a Microsoft spokesman said.

The improvements since Beta 2 were described as "a good deal of fit-and-finish work" that included Beta 2 tester feedback. The much-anticipated Active Directory, for instance, includes better multimedia device-driver support and better integration of Terminal Services, he said.

An important goal of having a Release Candidate 0 for Beta 3 is to show that the vendor is still on track for delivery of Beta 3 in the first quarter of 1999.

MARIA just spoke about DELL. Gave a good report. Excpects DELL to go up today.

Apparently Livingstone is resigning unlike another adulterer we all know. But then the other one isn't a >"hypocritical, evil,
and maniacal" Republican either.

Sounds to me like a double standard. He got a standing ovation for his misdeeds.

Remember, If the whitehouse was behind this, it would have been out sooner. The impeachment hearings were to be held on Thursday.
Mr. Livingston would never have confessed if he hadn't heard that HUSTLER had at least 4 women who reported his affairs with them.

The REPUBLICANS have been saying right along, that this was an imoral act, that the Prez lied to the people and to his wife. What hypocrits.
