Welcome back Little Chicken! From the url you gave: "Hutchison has also undercut the market on its CDMA network, offering a new tariff of $80 a month for 150 minutes. This again threatens to put pressure on the viability of PCS operators' business."
HK$80 = about US$9 for 150 minutes per month. That's 900 cents for 150 minutes = US6cents per minute. When they stop goofing around with silly monthly minute limits and get seriously competitive, prices will be much lower still. At these prices everyone can buy them in many countries and use anytime.
Meanwhile Eudora is measured by Media Metrix cunning monitoring: newspage.com Eudora is at number 48
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE) via NewsEdge Corporation -- Media Metrix today announced its third quarter ranking of the Top 50 most-used and owned software applications among PC users at home. Media Metrix is the only source of real-time, actual software ownership and usage at an installed base level, unlike previous rankings of application and utility software products that are based on sales of product through retail channels. With its patented PC Meter(tm) technology, Media Metrix delivers the first-ever software rankings based on what people actually use, as opposed to proxy indicators of what was purchased or what people remember they purchased.
Beyond the World Wide Web, Media Metrix provides invaluable insight into how people are actually using their computers - in addition to the web, it measures audience usage of proprietary online services, other ad-supported applications and software and hardware ownership and usage. Media Metrix' primary advantage is its unique PC user data retrieval method: its patented, proprietary PC Meter(tm) software technology. The PC Meter works with the computer OS to track and measure actual, real-time PC usage data and records detailed demographic information for each PC user.

Maybe somebody can make better sense of those numbers than I can. They all seem too small to me. Surely there are more than 36 million Explorer and Netscape users for example. And I thought there were about 10 million Eudora users.
Certainly Eudora has not been swamping the world as the email of choice. The built in browser emailers seem to win there.
