Phantom, Lynch was the first thing I read when I really started to invest. 50 years ago you were "cutting edge" if you were middle-class and bought mutual funds. Advisors told you to buy whole life. Many of the people I tell to buy 3 "gorillas" instead of mutual funds are talked out of it by "investment advisors" . Leaving your money in Cisco, Msft and Intel the next three years is the safest investment I know. Why let a mutual fund "grind" you, when you can do it yourself?
