That's what I hear about me too. I rarely get colds, or only a day; my immune system is hyper-active. People ask me if I have AIDS. "The opposite" I say. Doesn't compute.

My lungs decided certain conditions weren't right, and the resulting conditions they enforced, created the perfect environs for an organism they can't even detect.

I have heard of immune systems going whacko, doesn't sound like much fun.

At least you have the web to keep you up to date on treatments. My guess that years ago your problem would be labeled as mental. Thankfully the medical community now understands more about some of the rare problems.
