The weightings of the Nasdaq 100 change next Monday. Among them is the heavy weightings of the big 5.

MSFT currently represents 23% of N100. With the addition of AMZN, it's % should be 18%. It will be interesting to see the market action over the short term to see if those funds indexed to the N100 actually balance off by reducing their holdings in MSFT while buying AMZN. To a lesser degree the same is true of CSCO, INTC and DELL.

Well, with the anal-ysts coming out this am and pumping CSCO, INTC, and DELL, wonder when they'll be selling.....

Coincidence? I don't think so.
