At what age did you start questioning what they were saying? What turned you off the most? I think it is a mistake to say I was turned off by religion. I just studied a lot and learned that it is not possible for the universe to be controlled to the extent that is usually attributed to a God (without that effect being observed). Other than that it is possible to remain spiritual in many of the respects without one. It was in middle teenage years that I viewed mystic work in a different light although I could not be certain for another 20 or so years. TP ( Who doesn't mind religion, I just don't like someone telling me I have to do things their way when they can't come up with more than a magical reason).
