Gauguin, you have to understand that I am totally convinced that I will be all better within a few months. I "know" it. I refuse to accept any facts to the contrary, no matter how glaring and non-negotiable.

You also probably know, better than I, that at some point if I don't get better, my doctors will lose interest in me.

So, the osteoporosis is purely hypothetical. But, since you bring it to my attention, what should I do?
