Karl—When policy statements are important few market levels become unimportant.. may be SPH 1192 will hold as resistance and we may test 1166 again but the fact remains that all SPH levels need trickling down of information and I just do that for me information is key to good SPH trading and I use the charts as a tool to learn more nothing else nothing more.. If we have a second close above 1193 I would think that 1230 is doable.. This preamble to justify this on this post on this thread ggg..I write on this thread, I try to free myself from an established set of reasoning- I like WSJ but I find it astounding that they cannot see anything right in other people point of view if you not Jack Kemp or ross Perot it is rare you get a good review with WSJ... I like free market economy rather I am supply - side economist but I believe that depression's cannot be resolved without Kenyesian intervention...ggg I firmly believe in positive aspects of what Reagan did for this country but on the other hand I do see that Democrats have a point of view too, WSJ from day one has been harshest critic of Democrats, in my opinion one sided view is 'draconian approach' this is intellectual dishonesty of highest order. Today I sit down and criticize my own and other Muslim countries for their hypocrisy and double standards because I see them on one hand depending on US for every thing on the other calling US the Satan. Laden operated in Afghanistan and fought Russia with US backing, I agree US had different aims but Laden was a US operative and his change of heart is something I cannot understand, it is Laden who wants now to control the Royal House of Saudis, it is not Islam it his ambition to become the absolute despot, for that he can kill thousands in the name of Jihad for me it is obligatory as an human being to highlight his duality and his self-interest.. In Iran when I escaped from Kuwait in 1990 I saw $ ruled supreme, $ was the unofficial currency and that is how on Azadi Chowk the $ vendors were selling Ayothallahs Tomans hundreds of them for one $, that day I realized what a failed exercise the Iranian revolution was.. I wrote one article censored by everyone except my own press- MR Khomieni You lost it to a $,,,..... I don't live in US and I don't really need to look at your country other then purely academic interest, I like US with many of its shortcomings as a model state, I think if amalgamation or nations have to mix US can be a great example, it hurts me when this hope is tarnished as wedges are being driven due to isolationist view and self rightist streak, as I always say for me Christ admonishment 'the one who throws the first stone should be free of all evils' holds the key to attacking others on moral grounds.. on legal perjury forced confessions on someone individual sex life under pretext of law is mockery, I cannot live with that and I condemn it.. If US fails today, in my opinion the Russian and Chinese have engaged with dictators and are masters of appeasement, they will love to do it again. US rightists also has their own dictators like Pinochet, Marcos and Shah, but since most of these dictators were propped up by Republicans so they good one's they can kill and have immunity.. , these rightist while defending Pinochet demand that Democrats have no right to fight with a dictator if they do that it is left leaning activity.. Jesse Helm can go after Fidel Castro whom I hate but I equally hate PINOCHET TOO -- i JUST CANNOT reconcile with a good killer idea and a bad killer idea that is a specialty of hypocrites.. Why it is no good if a Democrat or Labour go after Pinochet and bring his excesses to justice? For me human life is more important and if justice can be dispensed why not.. I try to be reasonable I am a conservative and a liberal I am a human being, for me human brother hood is more important than any color race creed or ideology everything else is of secondary importance, I am a global citizen.. This melting pot of yours you call your great country USA needs some kind of backing and filling but I think you guys have a great model...
