When the average Joe's, Soccer Mom and people of this world start to "get this" it will be way too late to buy Nextel. Nextel is holding back because they HAVE to address the capacity issue. These phones SELL THEMSELVES...... Whenever you find a product that sells itself, you know you have something. That's the Nextel story. It's the untimate referral, networking, connectivity tool for personal and business use. When the day comes - when Nextel is ready for Amazon-like stratospheric growth in their stock price - they ought to just hire some of us rabid users who go on the stump on soapboxes around the country. I'm on the stump here in Chicago just in my own business trying to get my hands around my own experiment. Nextel's technology follows the pure internet model....yet they are still selling it as if its cellular. Time to go "higher" guys. How about changing the general message: "Nextel Reflects The Internet Into the Street" "Nextel: The Ultimate Internet-like Connectivity Tool" "Nextel - It's Like The Internet: Link, Network, Forum, Handshake, Connect Your Energy and Your Life With Others." I know this sounds "left field" but mediums are fusing together. Time to let the world know that Nextel really leaves the world of cellur and digital cellular behind. When you can "network" - ie. like when your surf the net - you draw on the power of many for a value-added result. Nextel is an internet stock. Same type of basic architecture, only applies to the street, community, area - but SOON HUGE AREAS AND PERHAPS THE NATION. We are sitting on the equivalent of an internet-stock goldmine. That's why I would never sell this thing down the river. This Nextel river is too damn wide and deep right now. All people are seeing are the little creeks, streams and tributaries. They don't realize that Nextel is very quickly becoming the Mississippi of Digital Wireless networking firms. You're right on Mike.... Nextel IS the future.
