Standards, standards & standards....seems to be the all important item for the major players. We hear Sprint mumbling, Bell Atlantic stumbling and SBC rumbling, but where is your DMT?...Waiting for the finalization of the standard no doubt.

As we near the date set by the ITU we'll be moving on up...I agree.

From the ITU:

"For the G.992.2 draft standard, the "decision" step is scheduled for end of June 1999 (21 June to 2 July 1998)."

Hiya Jim,
>Don't count out TXN. Yes the price is high. DSP's are where the microprocessor was in 1984, only it's even bigger! TXN has 70% of the market...... 3 for 1 split has been approved... <

Boy you sure get around <g>. Where did you hear that TXN is gonna split or were you just kidding? Would you happen to have a URL for the TXN split, that one seems to have gotten past me.

Thanks
