jay, its possible. we'll see. i just see price decreases and that leads me to believe this isn't rosy scenario.

jay, inacom (largest corporate pc reseller), ingram micro (largest pc distributor), muei and gtw have all announced sales problems and/or eps shortfalls. in the case of inacom, a drastic shortfall. weak pc demand was cited by inacom.

hwp recently slashed and burned 20% off their low end corporate pcs. real nice considering they can't grow eps and have disappointed every q for 2 years and running. toshiba also lowered its laptop prices 14%. and we're not even past new years yet.

them slow boats be speeding up, imho. ;-)
