Digital video move from Analog to double device sales to $ 22 billion... IBD Friday 12/18/98 Philips expects sales of digiatl video products to nearly double by 2000. IBD Wednesday 12/16/98 Sony and Western Digital team up to produce special disk drive to capture digital video. These facts confirm AXC's patent portfolio has worth of at least 10-15 million a year going forward AND IF AXC manufactures a consumer product there will be buyers (other than us). Last Christmas I urged everyone to "back up the truck" and buy more AXC AND encouraged everyone else to do the same. To use AXC for Christmas presents instead of wool gloves, scarf and hat. And, I took my own advice. ...and after 36 - 48 humilating months, when the rest of the tech stocks have made my buddies very, very rich (19 times their money)...etc...I am very bloody and humbled. However, I am happy to be alive. I learned an important lesson to share with the teachable.. "Don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever put all your money (your wifes, your kids) in one thing (stock, real estate, stamps, coins, business...). Don't be illiquid. DIVERSIFY. Don't let pride of being right drive you to the poor house (someone posted a good article earlier this year on this).
