Its a no-brainer. He can't finance his nonsense without the oil. But if we turn it off, the media campaign/spin will be that we are starving the innocent women and children. That will fuel terrorism.

Not killing him the first time (which is what he tried to do later to Bush), is what cost Bush re-election. We figured that anyone who couldn't figure out that Saddam needed killing, couldn't possibly figure out how to fix the economy. A clear sign of weakness.

Did anybody ever figure out why Saddam wasn't made to show up at Schwartzkoff's surrender table? A condition of his surrender should have included him handing over his sword.

As far as "snippering" the guy goes, its too late, unless you can clearly blame it on the Kurds or Sheites.

Worst of all, Clinton will keep funding the $billion a day "show" in a worthless desert for months, for the obvious.

Finally, if these stupid generals show any more pictures of meaningless, empty military buildings after they've been blown up at a cost of $10 million each, I'm gonna puke. Anything we've blown up was offered in sacrafice and is easily replaced.

This mess is just getting going.
