<< Because Livingston stood up to an act of political blackmail by the Clinton WH and remained steadfast in doing his Constitutional duty. >>

I must admire your ethics. I guess you are a member of these new Republican family values. So, by your logic, the indecent act was that Livingston was going to be exposed, not that he betrayed his family and cheated on his wife through several affairs.

An interesting set of standards. As long as the criminal can get away with the crime, it makes the crime ok. I think that I get your point. Are you going to have the Republican Party add that to their platform in time for the 2000 elections?

<< The Dems cannot defend Clinton intellectually or honestly. >>

Useless and false babble. I'm a democrat (I guess that's a surprise), and I'm not going to defend Clinton's adulterous ways at all. I don't like the fact that he lied so boldly to the public. He is guilty of acts in violation of MY family values, but not in violation of the new Republican Family Values which allows for adultery.

But, his acts to not rise to the level of impeachable offenses.

<< What I can understand is that the Dems support a perjurer and liar who had hundreds of affairs and than ran in 1996 on "family values". >>

"hundreds of affairs". I guess you are trying to make Clinton a worse adulterer than Livingston. Were you under oath when you wrote "hundreds of affairs"?

<< I can understand it because Dems are mostly stupid and/or dishonest. >>

I guess the Democrats can't help it if they aren't as smart an as honest as the pompous Mr. Zoltan of the "hundreds of affairs" level of honesty! <g>
