Re; advertisement on the web - I am trying a neat program called "@Guard : Enhance Performance, Privacy, and Protection on the Internet " which can be downloaded for a free trial at: atguard.com This $30 program can block banner advertisements, block cookies and referers, and act as a firewall against rogue programs. I have been using it for a few days and browsing the web is a pleasure again because I don't have to sit around waiting for banner ads to load. I wonder if anyone has studied the effects of this on advertisement revenue.
