Heavenly Father, I pray that you will anoint your servant Barry as he takes to the pulpit to preach to your people. I ask that the Holy Spirit fill him and speak through him. May your words spoken by him descend like thunder upon their ears. May hardened hearts melt before you and a flame of revival be lit in all. For any unsaved within hearing of your servant I pray your word will provide them with a broken and contrite heart and they be stripped of any and all self righteousness. Grant Barry the knowledge of your presence Lord to humble him as your servant and to lift him up as he speaks with your authority from the King of Kings and Lord of lords. Pleading the precious blood of Christ I bind Satan and his servants and pray that your hedge of protection be about your servant to shield and protect him. When he stands at that pulpit I pray that the people will know that the Lord is with him. In the precious name of Jesus I ask this with thanksgiving.

Lord, I pray that you would anoint Barry mightily when he preaches your Word on the Sunday after Christmas. I pray that the Holy Spirit would dwell within him both during preparation and during the actual sermon so that his words represent your words. I pray that you would send a host of unsaved people to his church on the Sunday that he preaches and that his message would be just the right one that they need so they will surrender their lives to you.
