JC - Can't agree with you re: Wildfire. Upon further investigation, I understand that Pacific wireless made its Wildfire decision before Portico became commercially available on July 30 and had already invested approximately 3 million in setting it up, hardware, etc. (Of course such hardware set up is not required given GMGC's NOC.) I also understand that the Wildfire to be offered by Pacific will be scaled down and still can't even begin to compete with Portico's functionality. Pacific's Wildfire, from what I gather, will not have a calendar, a stock report, stock quotes, news/internet access, etc. All in all, Pacific wireless could still be brought on board with Portico if it could be convinced that Portico's implementation would enable them to recover their 3 mil. quickly, which it would and then some.

JC..Your are right...PacBell is branding Wildfire themselves. They are paying a license fee and will be operating their own system. I would think that was the primary reason they went with wildfire over Portico.
