Rockhound, what you are saying is no doubt true....if all that YRI proves up here is 10 million oz silver then a major is not going to come courting early. But I will point out that 10 million is only the estimate from one part of Bacon which has not yet been fully investigated. There remains yet the possibility of 50 million oz Ag at Bacon. As well as Bacon there is Lejano where there will likely be another sizable resource....maybe another 50 million oz. Then there is as well, the secondary metal of Gold which will ad gold equivalent oz to the resource. Then there is Ciclon West which is much larger and may possibly prove to contain much more than both Bacon and Lejano together. All will become more clear with more drilling which is ongoing.

So in spite of the reality check, there is quite a bit of room for 'some rather ebullient optimism' as you say and I for one am looking forward to the time when we have proven in excess of 2,000,000 oz gold equivalent and a major does come courting. One characteristic of YRI is that they do not put all their eggs in one basket or throw all it's money at one area. They are drilling on three different places in Argentina and hold large prospective land in several countries. This diversification will serve them and us well as they are more likely to increase shareholder value without risking everything for a big boom/bust.
