Interesting thing about insider selling. After reading the previous article and in retrospect, it seems that they all sold out really too soon. If one followed their actions because they thought that they were bailing out because something on the horizon was bad for IBM, they seriously wrong. They were more likely diversifying their personal finances, cashing in to some degree on their own good fortune, and perhaps in some part paying off debts, college education for their kids and orthodontia bills. Bottom line, this doesn't mean much, because there are lots of legitimate reasons to sell. Insider buying is a better predictor because there is only one reason to buy.

Incidentally, now that we are in new high ground, anyone who has sold recently made a mistake by not holding on longer. BIG BLUE is still a great buy.
