This news seems to be very upbeat for Emersons future and its TRUE VALUE! This offer reminds me of when I go car shopping. I always give the lowest offer wanting all the extras. Then comes the wagering... At least Emerson has time on their hands to say yea or nay. This announcement gives some exposure to the investment community about Emerson. Bravo! flyintigress

Don't know about being the biggest gainer on AMEX, but volume just jumped from 525,000 to over 800,000 shares traded. bid/ask at 9/16. This is good news for Emerson because the investment community received this announcement and the volume's up with over 2 hours of trading time left! This price seems too low for a buyout. I hope if one does occur, the negotiating numbers are higher! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US EMERSON SHAREHOLDERS! flyintigress
