Huh? orders are half last year's level, the book-to-bill ratio has just climbed back to .84, so we need more fabs?

Can someone explain this to me? Is there or is there not a glut of fabs?

Mike, you know we are in fantasy land when orders at half of last year's levels rallies chip equipment stocks to new highs. <G> And a .84 book to bill, even from this shaky source, is horrible for chips. Anything less than 1.00 is a disaster.
