Here's another old article, again 1996 I believe, that discusses stem cell technologies.
Companies like Cellpro, Amgen, and Systemix are prominently mentioned, but so is Aastrom Biosciences, before it was a publicly traded company and based in San Diego.
Once again, it sort of traces the history, of ASTM, and shows that they are on track with their Replicell System today...with European marketing about to begin.
Remember this article is probably around two years old, but very informative...
