Thread: Verio will be offering DSL service in the Greater Puget Sound Area in the first quarter of 1999. nw.verio.net I can hardly wait...but I'll bet I am not close enough to a GTE office. Does anybody know if g.lite will be coming? Verio seems to be oriented toward serving only business--does anybody have a feel if they are going to push into consumer market...I'd pay $100/month for adsl, I really do not understand why it is taking so long. Is GTE completely disinterested? Will I have to find a more competitive clec, I think there are a couple in my area...I wonder. Any thoughts--is it straitforward to change you carrier? --Mike
