Very bad conversation with Roberta, possibly my last.

And I'm relatively certain that was her intent. She is obligated to take stockholder's calls, but can make those conversations so useless and so combative that you won't call again. She has apparently decided that it would be preferable to take a short term (bad bet) "hit" on SI and get rid of me (I'll sell) than have me pointing out which OE steps are missteps. I guess she hadn't read my complimentary post from earlier today...

What in the world have we invested in?

When I expressed my belief that NOTHING short of a 4S deal would move this stock, she did not disagree. When I asked her if she was surprised that Aprilia and Sundiro did not move the stock, she said she was not.... I then asked her what announcement that failed to move the stock would surprise her, and she said a 4S deal such as Mercedes. So thru a process of elimination, she has confirmed to me that not even OE expects any "shareholder value" improvement until (if?) a major 4S deal is signed. Now how lucky does everyone feel?

So ignore the 2S announcements, no matter how big or how many. All you have to worry about is the convertible (are they clueless?) and 4S (no sign of progress, possibly a sign of the opposite)....
