Hi Gregg

I don't think I'm missing anything here.I was reacting to a seemingly blase reaction from the thread.

The announcement highlights an important alignment of service providers. This is a new development. Up to now, it's been QCOM vs ERICY with the ITU (and NTT) standing in the wings.

QCOM's has an opportunity here to score some points, re-emphasizing it's commitment to a single standard.

We know all this is a shell game. The real action is happening behind the scenes. However, I would like to see a press release from QCOM soon (and before ERICY)

regards

w
