>>> I don't want to start a nurse discussion,

Get back to the point. I said nurses that become PhDs are RNs first, and RNs have to intern, which means they always have practical hands on, line experience. I said nurses are managed by other professionals, not by 'management experts.' I said this system, similar to apprenticeship in ways, would be a good example for engineers to follow.

If I am wrong, say whether it is in my facts about nursing, or grant me those. If you have some reason you can back up for saying that non-programmers make good programming managers (which I consider clearly wrong), then explain.

Chaz

BTW, whenever you get out of your area of expertise and get called on it, you somehow manage to bring up financial derivatives. HMMM. Well, it sounds like you know what your one area of expertise really is.

I noticed every discussion we have you state I am way out of my expertise and even went so far as to say this in derivatives engineering and investment analysis. HMMM!

That is some people's common tactic, always discredit other people before discussion, then talked as if an expert in everything. I just ignore them once I found out.
