Hi Chuzz...***Off Topic*** Re:.I am simply thankful that the majority of Americans are not nearly as gullible as their right-wing "representatives". It has been pointed out, first by Nihil and later by Reginald, that the legality of this as pertains to the Constitutional articles of impeachment have primarily to do with material untruths. Well, if we strictly adhere to the narrow legal definitions then Clinton has escaped with the help of his high-priced lawyers. But how is it explained to the ordinary citizen that the Commander in Chief of the armed forces slid by because of a technical when the female B-52 pilot lost her job because of the same subject inquiry. There are other armed forces officers who have lost their command, retirement and jobs because of being caught in these same charges. Aside from calling names, it seems each side of the issue cannot seem to view the facts objectively, both here (at SI) and in the House. If we stop and think for a few minutes, we can remember that the Democratic House absolutely ragged Bush to death about various smaller issues. So it's not exactly correct to portray the Republicans as fanatics when, if the situation were reversed, we would hear the exact same fanatical screams from the other side. I don't think anyone is comparing this with the Nixon transgressions. If anything, Republican fanatics might be incensed by the fact that Clinton has trumped them on every single constructive issue they put forward in the last 6 years. It's just who has the most brains or money in the end. Look at that Dell and CSCO go and what's wrong with TLAB? <g> (to be more on topic) Regards, Lee
