What do you mean the market is "valuing" AMZN at $280? It is not the market! The only reason AMZN and YHOO ran to this level is because of extremely small float(done on purpose by the company management), relentless hyping, and momentum buying by some daytraders. If you look at the history of the stock market, none fared well after such insane run-up and speculation. Most stocks and companies eventually crashed and burned. YHOO and AMZN will be no exception. It will eventually come back to below $50 per share. The reason is that the market is never intended to work like this, and will self correct and get rid of this kind of garbage.
