from what I hear about manu, people are leaving.

they had a round of layoffs. hiring freeze. Cannot believe that morale could be high. sales execution sucks. they have a mess of mergers, all of which are taking time and resources. three consecutive quarters of substantial losses.

i2 is gaining strength.

Before we see $20, a merger, cost cutting, and big time streamlining, and some serious orging has to happen.

All this is not going to happen anytime soon. by that time, where will i2 be? they are already making inroads on the projected customer base of Manugistics. think cpg. sanjiv was quoted in the last company earnings announcement to not see manu in sales situations.

about the merger, oracle is very tightly in bed with i2. why should they go with manugistics? PSFT seems like the better choice. any comments here?

I own stock here, but I cannot but face reality. any reality check out there?

Go figure...big loss, no firm offer and the stock didn't sink. I'm back from the holidays. I hope January brings good news about a buy for us longs.
