Off Topic,
John, Don't know if you have been following, but BENJ has been very strong. Up another $3 today on "massive" volume [34,500 sh.] to $17 1/2. My short term target was $20 after the ruling on Glenfed, but no news yet on that judgement. Just a guess, but I think the active float available for day to day trading, is probably only in the low hundreds of thousand shares. Somehow this story is spreading, as volume has been picking up lately with a limited supply for sale, thus causing the sharply upward price movement. Most people that own this have had it since the shutdown in '90 and probably couldn't tell you if the price was closer to $7 or $17. After holding it for 8 years and having written it off on their taxes, they will wait. What's a few more years? The trial will start Jan. 11, 1999 and go through Feb. 13, with a one week extension if needed. A judge in Nov. rejected one of three Glendale claims. BENJ is the ultimate virtual company- Not only no bricks and mortar, but no employees or revenue! That is even better than internet in this nutty environment. EBAY, $26 in Oct. and $294 today? Apologies are in order to the much maligned Dutch who paid the equivalent of $10,000 for special tulip bulbs. They had been cast historically as in a mania. Now we know they were just enthused but level headed investors compared to today. Lets all remember those fallen comrades in our Holiday Prayers who have been short Internet stocks. On Topic; Looked at the DTPI and DOCC reports and was favorably impressed. Any others have opinions? I still want to go long more SFE but not even tempted lately. Happy Holidays and hope the new year is profitable for you all. Mike
