TigerPaw, the economy is the only reason why Clinton's poll numbers are still high enough to give him the "cover" to fight impeachment....in due time Clinton will face the impeachment music and we'll see just how irrelevant this president is to your 401K. I do give him a smidgen of credit for re-appointing Alan Greenspan though, now there's somebody whose absence will move the markets..... bp

Yes, Bob Brinker told his listeners in his "Moneytalk" program last weekend that it is a foregone conclusion that Clinton will NOT be removed from the Senate, because "the votes simply aren't there". This, in spite of the fact that Brinker himself is anti-Clinton... Brinker also advised listeners to take advantage of any short-term pullbacks caused by the impeachment circus, and to buy SPYders if the S&P 500 index went below 1100.
