George,
Friday was most disturbing because my contacts that know of this tremendous Asian official sector buying did NOT see it Friday. A time back when gold was basing at the $318 to $320 area the same buying was going on. Then the Asian crises hit and they pulled the order to stay liquid for other types of activities. Gold then dive bombed, so yes I am a bit apprehensive and want to see them return early next week or it could get ugly. That would change this whole recent pattern.
Then again, gold and silver have had a tendency to break down recently and then come roaring back to the point where the Fed led cappers come in.
This has been one tedious journey, but I still feel it will be worth it next year. Has been like 10 little Indians. One by one the bulls are disappearing.
