I do understand the tornado, I wasn't kidding, I have given that presentation. But I also understand the history of the gold rush and who it was that could actually be counted on to make money consistently in that environment. It's the guy selling the miners the supplies, not the guys trying to get rich digging for gold.

My problem has been that in my heart (not intellectually), I keep on putting the internet stocks into the gold miner category. And you have to admit, companies like AMZN are still panning for gold and still just getting a few flecks.

An analyst came out today identifying CSCO as an internet stock since it does $20M/day of sales over the web. Said that a reasonable PE compared to AMZN would be 1,000,000,000. A little perspective.
