AFTER THE BELL - Intel pares earlier gains
NEW YORK, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Intel (Nasdaq:INTC - news) pared its earlier gains, falling 1.125 to 118-7/8 from a close of 120, in post-session Friday trade on the Instinet.

Intel was one of the most active chip stocks on the technology-laden Nasdaq market today. It rose 3-1/8 amid more indications of a recovery in the chip-making industry and on positive statements from Prudential and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Stock of drug maker Amgen Inc. (Nasdaq:AMGN - news) rose over a $1 in the post-session Friday to 89-1/2 from a close of 88-1/8, according to Instinet.

The New York Stock Exchange said after-hours session one volume Friday was 1,770,100, versus 1,817,900 Thursday. Session two volume was 2,115,086, compared to 385,200 Thursday.

Your right, it sure is going to $50 but after the split ;-)

In anycase, I look for a retrenchment probably to the $83-84 level over the next two weeks. I believe we will see $100 sometime between Jan and the end of Feb.
