Leave it to a brain dead left wing wacko to think California is the center of the universe. No of course I dont pretend to know where the center of the universe is. Only GOD (the male humanoid superior being that created the universe and a bunch of spiffy rules for things that live there like -dont commit adultery- ... a big item, that) knows where the center of the universe is. Otoh if we are talking about the center of the universe as it relates to the US dept of representatives ... well lets see... one state stands out doesnt it BOB? And that would be.... thinking... thinking.... California! Funny, I work for one of the largest high tech companies in the world here in Silicon Valley and there hasn't been one here. The policy at most of them would be to summarily fire you for such a practice. Oh, good point. These big companies fire everybody for such practices as political petitions. Unless of course these petitions are circulated during the fundraiser that is going on downstairs in the corporate lobby conference room - then ok - just trying to evade email congestion you know. Oh psssst - BOB - just an FYI - sometimes companies tell their underperforming workforce that they get fired for a lot of things that are actually ok because they are hoping for a clean way to, uh, remove the deadwood ....
