Yosemite should satisfy the high end crowd, if they can ever be satisfied ;-)

And there you go. No matter what Apple does, some people here on SI will still find something to whine about. Apple does the right thing and gets back into the consumer market, only to have the "high end" users here piss and moan about the lack of whiz bang 1Ghz G4 computers to run their very low volume, specialty market applications. Well, boo hoo! It never ends.

Hi Adam,

Exaggeration? I hardly think so. In your response, you acknowledge that Apple is slow in getting their high end products to market. That's not exaggeration – that's fact. You address the fact that advertising drives magazines. My point exactly. When the reader interest isn't there advertising revenue declines. To cite the Web as a reason, IMHO, isn't going to get it – name one consumer publication (i.e., revenue derived through ads) that puts its ENTIRE content online, gratis.

As to your comments about Apple being just as fast as any Wintel machine out there. I totally agree! But, where Apple consistently looses it, is at the price point. Wintel wins pretty handily.

Lastly, I didn't say there was a ”problem” – you did. I was expressing concerns, and I still remain concerned over the future of Apple if they continue in the direction they are currently heading.

Cheers!
