Go here, sec.gov click on the filing for 12/15, do a search on "convertible" after you open it, and read the lines before and after it. That may have something to do with it, I had this stock on my watch list until I found out that they had resorted to convertible preferred for financing.

I sold after the patent news because it has been my experience this year that a "patent" or an FDA approval, or such, only supports a stock temporarily if it has been on a slide over a period of time.
CORX and PLC as examples.

This stock deserves a much higher price, but you can say this about SO MANY other stocks that are sinking late this month also.
