Steve: IOM - As a very short term play I would agree with you. But long term I think IOM has very little future unless they make a dramatic shift in their product line. I don't see what will keep them in business beyond 2000. I used to live about 2 miles from their home office and had many friends that worked there....good sources of information. However, that was in their glory years.

I think you may still have a good 3-6 mos. of good performance. They still have a loyal following from the old days.

TO ALL
One thing we try to do on this thread is to
inform investors, both new and seasoned ones
of the importance of DD. Advise them of some
of the pitfalls of bad investing. Too many
investors are jumping in to online trading
with the idea that it is an easy way to make
$$$$$$. They do not know or understand what
research goes into a trade before a trade
is made. Yes they may get lucky and make
a few trades that are positive but sooner
or later, they will loose their $$$ and be
put off by the market. It take knowledge,
time and experience to become a successful
trader. We are all here to help each other
and learn. The more eyes and ears, the better
off we all are. Truth, no phoney DD or phoney
hype is what we are looking for. We will be
covering Daytrading, momos, Position trading,
Longterm, shorterm and what ever else. We will
have an identification of the type of stock
we believe it is. So if you want to come and
learn, please come, if you want to come and post
BS, don't bother. In a short time, Trader J will
be announcing the Specialist who will handling
certain areas of investing. This will be new to
a lot of us and may take so time for it to
click together but once it does, watch out. This
sould be set up by the New year for 1999. Most of
the DD will be posted after market hours and on
weekends. During the trading hours, our posting
should be kept to info we need for that day or
next. After all, we traders or becoming traders.
Best of luck to all of us and a Merry Christmas
and a Happy Trading New Year.
