Antoine:
Dragon has been a pioneer in the game for years, and yes, I've got their latest in house. I won't comment on which system is currently the best, as that is a subjective thing. With all of them, one still has to pause between words to get acceptable accuracy, and spend an interminable amount of time "training" the system to one's voice nuances (don't get a cold!). and even a single error really slows the process down as one has to stop and clean up. My kids kick my fanny on speed via typing, and even my two-fingered typing is improving to the point where it is competitive. (g)

That said, I expect to see truly viable and reasonably inexpensive voice recognition systems (actually what we really want are "dictation systems") in the next year or so. I'm a customer for certain, but again, the younger generation may not be.

Best, Earlie
