King said that 1997 has been a banner year for the company. In 1997 the company can brag of : $2,ooo,ooo in profits for the year ending in April, 1997. On May 24, 1997 Starnet is the first to broadcast live horse racing(Woodbine Racetrack) on the Internet utilizing streaming audio and video. September 2, 1997 Starnet Communications International Inc. has been cleared by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and has become a fully-reporting US public company. November 12, 1997 Starnet Communications International Inc. announces the incorporation of its new wholly-owned subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean Inc.. Softec is engaged in licensing complete, customized real-money Internet gaming systems to offshore gaming license holders. October 22, 1997 Starnet Communications International Inc. announces that its wholly owned subsidiary World Gaming has commenced operation and is now accepting real-money wagers from residents outside North America. November 25, Starnet is pleased to announce that it has been listed in the Standard & Poors Standard Corporation records. This publication is a recognized securities manual for Blue Sky, manual exempt trading.
