All candidates have skeletons in their closet. President Clinton has paved the way for those (i.e. Gary Hart) who years ago would have had no chance at the White House. This is no longer a factor.

Go to the bookstore and buy a basic law book. In our judicial process it does not matter what type of court you face, breaking an oath is the same no matter how you look at it.

As for Al Gore being unelectable....I think not...If President Clinton can get elected, anyone can. By the way, if the economy is good, Gore wins hands down. A good economy wins elections for the incumbent or sitting party.

As far as digging up dirt. Remember this process is happening due to the fact that the PRESIDENT LIED UNDER OATH. Live it, learn it, love it. If the next President lies under oath, we will see this again.

You cover many topics in very few sentences.

P.S. What about the constitution???

Clinton dug his own dirt by showing such poor judgement in the White House. This was no private sexual affair or encounter. If he had done it out in town in some hotel I would have no problem with it. But when he does it IN THE WORKPLACE, WITH A SUBORDINATE, AN INTERN HALF HIS AGE, that's when its no longer a private matter. If I got caught having sex with an summer intern in my office at work I'd expect to get fired on the spot---and I'm not the President of the United States---so I don't have to live up to as high a standard. A President has to live up to a very high standardsecause he provides leadership to this country and the rest of the World.
