Software help: I am looking for a piece of software, similar to the Sound Recorder that comes with Win95, NT, etc. that records sound that comes in through the line in plug. The catch is that the recorder must work VOX, Voice Activated. That is, the little application would be open on my windows desktop throughout the day...I'd have a little microphone (why with the littles?<G>), I 'd have abig microphone witha line in to the sound card, and when I speak into the microphone, it starts the recording process...when I stop speaking it pauses the recorder... At day end, I'd love to be able to archive, etc. the work. The purpose: I want to be able to dictate and emote my feelings on market activity and the success/failure of certain trading systems, SOES, SNET , etc. At days' end, or every so often, I could listen to the tapes and rehash what worked and what didnt. Plus it would be great for other personal dictation items when travelling. Please PIM or email me (steve@yamner.com) if anyone knows of something that does this... BTW***On Raes and Pace system, mm (called market makers when dealing with options, not specialists), they are exposed to autofills upto 10 contracts , if piece entered is less than 10, if contract has a premium of 10 or less. ie..you have to buy 20 calls Abd dec 90s @ 9...enter 10 first, ge tthe 10, then go for the rest....to buy 20 calls abc dec 90s at 12, forget it, auto fill doesnt work anyway. in that situation, i use my floor broker, unless its flying, but then youre not getting it anyway, (we all know options),,,anyway, the floor broker approacs the booth and asks for quote and size, once gotten, does the trade, cant back down...value of floor broker for options, a bit slower but great for ensuring a fill. Thanks! & Regards, Steve@yamner.com
