Just look at the Yahoo 5 day trading pattern of Microsoft, you will find that
Microsoft always went up sharply in the last half hour of the trading . It is a standard
pattern of accumulation. Some big boys accumulated the shares in the middle of the trading sessions , and bought up the price before the close. The short did not have much chance to knock down the price at all, because when the short found out that stock went up sharply and tried to knock it down, the market had already closed. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
