Sony is doing all the plastics tooling (much magic involved), and has one of the two Xybernaut manufacturing facilities.

The other manufacturing facility is, I forget where, Siemens, or something like that. It was posted on SI long ago as a backup or secondary facility. At least that's how I remember it. I recall each had a capacity of 1000 units per month.

I had envisioned the Sony plant operating 'below capacity' at 800 per month and the other in mothballs 'just in case it was needed'. I now recognize that was not the plan.

Running at full capacity makes much better economic sense, based on amortized costs.

Now if I could just glimpse at the backlog orders...
