I've been watching this thread for a couple of days now, and this is absolutely the saddest and most disturbing thing I've seen yet. I really do live in a country where the majority of people want to create a situation where our leaders are not subject to the same rule of law that we are. None of the Clintonistas seem to realize the very serious consequences that we will face if the precedent is established that the president can violate the law with impunity. And don't even try to feed me any censure crap. The Constitution only allows one response to presidential malfeasance and that is impeachment.

I stand back, astonished, as we rush headlong into the coming police-state. I just wish that being able to say "I told you so" would bring me any kind of enjoyment in the future that you ignorant elitist clowns are creating.

Borzou, fortunately for all of us, the congress is out of touch with the "spolls" (a rather appropriate contraction for the spinpolls) on a number of issues. If we lived in a democracy as you seem to insist we should, there are some things you should be prepared to deal with.
