What explains the move up in light of the outflow?

Bill, got in AMG Monday AM finally. Thanks. How about a little Poll analysis conjecture:

Clinton's approval is up to 73%, let's say 75% for a round number. Say that's 3 out of 4 people polled who are deliriously (read margined) long the market. Say the other guy has been a short fried over the last 1 1/2 years by the PPT because he's a fundamentalist, and will no longer short the Fed, nor certainly go long. We already know the last couple months savings has been negative, so the longs are spending their paper gains. If 3 out of 4 are in (deep), and the 4th threw in the towel, and money's been leaving the market for 4 weeks (although not reflected in the indexes), kind of makes you wonder who's left to sell to.

Of course this is way too logical, so money will come from somewhere ;-)

regards,
Tom
