It would also be very illuminating to see your rather detailed analysis applied retroactively to the most recent prior attempt to impeach a President. Yes, I am speaking of President Nixon. How goes the (other high) misdemeanors in that case ?

Was there a lynching that I missed ? I thought all that happened was some debate on 4 articles of impeachment so far...

Curious, nihil, which perjuries of congressmen would you bring charges for?

BTW - the various commanders of the armed forces would follow the orders of the President. A military rebellion against their commander-in-chief is far-fetched; career officers would resign, not rebel. Their oath does not give them the kind of wiggle-room the liar-in-chief has.

I wonder if after this whole thing is over and Clinton is no longer president, can he bring a prosecutorial harassment lawsuit against Ken Starr & Co.?
