My butt breathes - "but it never inhaled!"

<<On a more practical note, if you want to prevent such occurrences in the future, I would suggest that you review how tight and confining your clothing might be. These things often start as ingrown hairs, or result from sitting down quite a bit. Your butt needs to breathe!! >>

Thanks for the good advice. I know my butt exhales from time to time but I never considered the need for it to inhale.

If I can bear sitting to do this, you can be sure I feeling much better! S.J., while being very good and at times too willing to take such tasks in hand, doesn't seem to possess the gentle touch. Odd, I don't ever seem to have the opportunity to return the favor. <g>

I opted for the medical procedure after one respondant gave me a very detailed analysis of the risks after the infected area reached a certain point. I knew I was at that point, and there was no sense in fooling with it any longer on my own.

I knew from past experience that there are a number of people posting on this thread with better than average intelligence and no b.s. practical advise. I chose to chance embarrassment in hopes I would get some good advise, and I was not disappointed (thanks again to those of you who responded).

If this was an indirect result of sitting too much, does that mean I'll have to do this type of thing less often? What are S.J. and I going to talk about???? <gg>

Whenever Next Time Is,

Mike
