A survey on the remediation efforts of sewage providers is at amsa-cleanwater.org To be blunt this survey by the Association of Metropolitan Sewage Agencies simply is not as well thought out as the American Water Works Association survey. To be even blunter...well, it just sucks. The bottom line is this...Only 55% of responding agencies reported that they have completed or begun work on a contingency plan to respond to a partial or whole y2k (internal and external) systems failure. External failure includes failure in fuel supply (for backup power) and delivery of chemicals. Got septic? "flatsville"
